The U.S. Army listed Evangelical Christianity and Catholicism as examples of religious extremism along with Al Qaeda and Hamas during a briefing with an Army Reserve unit based in Pennsylvania, Fox News has learned.

“We find this offensive to have Evangelical Christians and the Catholic Church to be listed among known terrorist groups,” said Ron Crews, executive director of the Chaplain Alliance for Religious Liberty. “It is dishonorable for any U.S. military entity to allow this type of wrongheaded characterization.”

The incident occurred during an Army Reserve Equal Opportunity training brief on extremism. Topping the list is Evangelical Christianity. Other organizations listed included Catholicism, Al Qaeda, Hamas, the Ku Klux Klan, Sunni Muslims, and Nation of Islam.

The military also listed “Islamophobia” as a form of religious extremism.

No me lo puedo creer, ¡esto es un avance chicos y chicas! ¿qué será lo próximo? ya empiezo a divisar en el horizonte las primeras palabras de la vigesimoctava enmienda y están relacionadas con la religión. (no tanto va, seamos realistas)

Aunque hay una cosa que no acabo de entender, ¿qué es eso de extremismo religioso?
¿Llevar al máximo tus creencias? ¿pero no se trata de eso? si estas actuando en nombre de dios, según tu fe estas haciendo lo correcto, la verdad, veo que en la actualidad la iglesia se moja menos que nunca, todos sabemos cuales son sus creencias y costumbres tradicionales, y que si no fuera por la moral (verdadera) aún seguiríamos matando a mujeres a pedradas en la plaza mayor del pueblo. Para mi no hay matices, o es blanco o es negro, o defiendes lo que tu fe te impone o para mi eres un mierdecillas de tres al cuarto que se deja manipular por los paganos.
(hay es que sí, jesucristo es amor pero el viejo testamento no se no se...) - ¡CAGAO!

Me recuerda a una gran tatuadora que tuve el placer de conocer hace tiempo, me dijo que había tatuado decenas de esvásticas, y respondiendo a mi obvia pregunta dijo:
— No, si yo encantada, no hay nada mejor que marcarlos para saber con qué ser estamos tratando.

Pues con eso lo mismo, prefiero que expresen libremente sus creencias y que acarreen con todo, así uno no tiene ni que pararse a pensar en el tipo de persona con el que tratamos.
